Bohemians won against Dynamo

It was a Sunday morning when Bohemians played their second match of winter Tipsport league in Satalice. It was Dynamo from Budweis who were the opponent. Dynamo played their second match in last two days. It was kangaroos’ last match before their fitness training camp in Břízky, in the north of the
Bohemians had been dominant on the pitch since the start of the match because Dynamo fielded a weakened team, after having a match the day before. The first chanceto score came in 5th minute when Bartek had a shot but the goalkeeper Křížek caught it. The next chance once again fell to Bartek after a good cross from Borek, but the budweis goalkeeper showed some magic. Then, in the 25th minute it was Bartek who passed the ball to Lukáš Hartig and a precise shot close to the post made it 1:0 to Bohemians.
Five minutes later Dynamo tried to answer but Rýdel’s 25 meter effort sailed well above the goal. The rest of first half was in Bohemians hands. Few more chances offered a fan a morning full of adrenalin, but the deadlock was not to be broken. Half time score 1:0.
Bohemians substituted most of the team for the second half. This was a special moment for a 17-year-old youth player Petr Nerad, who was making his first appearance in the A team.
After an hourof the match, Bohemians doubled their lead. Firstly, Martin Nešpor missed a goal by centimeters only but then in 64th minute Dynamo’s goalkeeper deflected a shot from Kraják and Pavol Orolín delivered the package right into the point of delivery. Score 2:0 to Bohemians.
Budweisers could have answered again quickly but Dolejš’s header didn’t trouble Václav Marek’s goal. The rest of the match was just about one player, Petr Nerad, who played his first match for A team. 15 minutes before the final whistle he didn’t reach the cross with a header, moment later missed a ball passed by Nešpor and Kraják. It was 85th minute when Křížek didn’t come to claim the ball andafter a deflection Nerad was in the right place at the right time and scored,making it 3:0.
Bohemians won their first match in this year’s winter league and Pavel Medynský said that he was pleased with the result, but that the team shouldn’t overestimate nor underestimate it. He said that it’s notthe result which is important but the opportunity for the players to practice and for him to see how players behave in a match situation.
The team left for a fitness training camp in Břízky right after the match. The next Tipsport winter league appearance will be this weekend against Hradec Králové and Viktoria Žižkov.
