DareiosIIIDraw in Vlašim
Saturday morning in Vlašim. The first appearance of Bohemians outside of Prague this year. The opponent under the mythical mountain of Blanik was the second division team Vlašim, which is undergoing big changes under the new coach Urban.
The match started positively for Bohemians, when David Bartek came on goal and with a shot right to the middle of goal was not able to catch the keeper off guard. But in 9th minute, Bohemians opened the scoring. After Kaufman’s corner kick Jan Růžička scored with a header, when left alone in a penalty box.
The score didn’t stay same for much longer. Two minutes later Macháček scored when he got in behind the defence after a free kick of Vlašim and goalkeeper Marek didn’t have a chance. The answer for that could have come right after, when Martin Nešpor had a shot which rippled the side netting.
Chances from both sides came during the rest of first half but the socre remained the same. It was Jícha and Pokorný whose shots from distance flew tantalisingly wide of the uprights. Bohemians, namely Nešpor, had one of the best chances to change the final score but didn’t manage to finish it.
The second half was without goals, but not without a lack of chances. It was Vyhnal for Bohemians and Janda, Kolašinac and Kosák for Vlašim, but the Bohemians defenders and keeper didn’t make any mistakes. The final score finished up as a 1:1 draw.
