New defense line did not secure points

The first half of the season finished with a match against Jablonec. Jozef Weber had great concerns with the composition of the defense line.It was obvious that the players were not coordinated well at the beginning, but Martin Berkovec played well and survived the initial pressure.
Třešňák appeared in a big chance during the 14th minute but Berkovec showed a great jump and saved it.
The Kangaroos made bold after 20 minutes. Petr Nerad’s shot went just wide. Jablonec reacted immediately with the biggest chance in the first half. Martin Hubnik sprinted alone on goal, Martin Berkovec went towards him and assured the goalless state.
Bohemians got into a chance at the end of the first half. Jakub Hora forced the keeper to jump for his shot, Hora continued with the chance, he was tripped by one of the defenders but referee did not see it. Matej Štochl got the deflected ball but his shot was too slow to be effective.
The second half started with a pressure by Bohemians. Jakub Rada tried a shot from a long range but it went over. Daniel Krch went around three players, passed the ball to Moravec, then to Hora but he didn’t score.
Jablonec got the possession back. Firstly, it was Pitak and his shot was blocked by Martin Cseh, but then it was Martin Hubnik who scored a winning goal. He got a pass from Vaněk, took a shot which went between the legs of Berkovec and to the net.
Bohemians tried to equalize but the away team stayed compact at the back and did not let kangaroos to create any bigger chances. They were dangerous from counterattacks however none of it ended in a net. Dmitro Jeremenko jumped as a substitute into his first match but didn’t help Bohemians to change the score. Jablonec got three points at Ďolíček.
