A very attractive match was played since an early beginning of the match. The score could have changed 5 times in first 20 minutes. It was Šmíd who surprised the defense of the home team and hit the net after Rada’s free kick. However, he was off side and the goal was disallowed. Řezníček had a chance on the other side of the pitch but Berkovec saved it.

The defense line of kangaroos had a lot of work in following minutes. Berkovec deflected Zeman’s header to the crossbar, ball went on the goal line where Brabec was on time and got rid of it. Then it was Volešák who took a shot and Berkovec saved it again. Counter-attack led by Brabec who offered a ball to Lietava ended in hands of the home keeper. The next chance was also ineffective and the score have not changed.

Řezníček changed that in 34th minute. He got the ball in the attacking half, with a bit of luck went passed Brabec and lobbed Berkovec. The conceded goal has made Bohemians nervous and the score difference could have been even bigger in next minutes. Both Slepička and Řezníček have tried it but their shots were inaccurate. 

The beginning of a second half was in hands of the home team. The series of corners chained Bohemians on their own half. Příbram have put a lot of pressure on them but without a goal scored. The kangaroos became a bit more active later in the half when Hora aimed his header just wide.

The pace of the game slowed down. The home team was dangerous especially from the counterattacks while Bohemians were trying to conquer the home goal but without success thanks to the inaccuracies in passing. 

The rest of the match was about tackles and stubbornness. The kangaroos tried to pressurize but the quality was missing. The home team has secured the rest of the match and could have celebrated a well-deserved win from a first spring match. Kangaroos will try to gain those points in the next match against Sparta Prague.
