There was a remembrance moment for Lukas Pribyl, who was actively working for both clubs and who left us too early two years ago. The representatives of Lithuanian team Žalgiris Vilnius were welcomed into our green and white family by exchanging the club flags and scarfs. And the match was ready to begin.

The match started in great speed. Sparta took the game into their hands, kangaroos were nervous and the opponent used it. First bigger chance for Sparta was offered by Bohemians themselves. Bartek went into difficulties, passed the ball to Rada into an even worse position. Rada lost it, the ball deflected to find Matějovský who went on goal alone. Berkovec got to him really fast and lowered the angle and saved it.

Lietava had the answer prepared. Hora crossed the ball, Lietava touched it, moved the ball behind the defender but he got into a difficult angle and his shot ended in the side net. Sparta stayed calm and no chance have been seen in next minutes. Vacha could change the score but his try from 25 metres was Berkovec sent it out of the goal.

Lafata tried it in 23rd minute. He got the ball from Vaitkunas and went on goal. The immediate reaction of Brabec did not let Lafata to go any further so he had to be satisfied with a shot away from the penalty area. Berkovec had it again. But what didn’t work for Lafata, worked for Hušbauer two minutes later. He went through the left side, went around Vaitkunas and took a low shot around Berkovec. 1:0 for the away team.
Kangaroos didn’t mourn for a long time and scored an equalizer two minutes later. Kuklys passed the ball Bartek who found Hora on the side. Hora crossed the ball, which found Lietava. Nice first touch with his chest, ball jumped off the ground and a great shot to the defender Holek and a deflection into the goal.

The scored goal boosted the home team. The combinations were good, they were winning fights and they were faster at deflected balls. But the main problems in the match were corner kicks and free kicks. The opponent from Letna had prepared many different variations and they were successful in surprising the defensive line of Bohemians. Holek was successful after one of those standard situations headed the ball on the goal but Berkovec had it. Holek collided with Brabec in the air and both had to substitute later.

 
The kangaroos added the pressure in the second half. Sparta Prague might have been one of the reasons as well because they stayed more at the back and attacked only from counterattacks. And the chance to score a winning goal of Sparta could come after the corner kick of Vacha. He found Costa but Costa put it over the bar from a close distance.

But his chance came in 73rd minute. He went along the left side, got around Hora and crossed the ball in front of the goal, found Lafata who headed in. Lafata scored a decisive goal. Another goal could have been added two minutes later but Prikryl’s shot went into the side net.

Bohemians tried to equalize but the guests showed a well played position game and didn’t let kangaroos any bigger chance. Few more counterattacks by Sparta Prague didn’t show any greater chance and Sparta secured the rest of the match and brought all the points home.
