And all the expectations were against Bohemians. They haven’t won at Jablonec in last 14 years and won only 2 games in the history of separate Czech league.

The beginning of the match was not good on both sides. The sun was up on the sky and the temperature was high and this caused the poor performance of all present footballers. Petr Nerad even had to sub during 19th minute because of breathing problems.

Kangaroos were affected by this cause and Jablonec started pushing. Fantiš’s header was the first warning but it went just over the post. Then it was Novak who sent a pass in front of the goal where Čížek didn’t reach the ball to send it in.

Kangaroos were trying for counterattacks but their efforts always ended before the penalty area. It looked like it will be a goalless score at the half time when Čížek sent an inconspicuous shot which aimed for a far post and the ball deflected into the goal.

The second half continued in a same way as previous minutes. Jablonec had a ball on their feet, it was Fantiš after Kopic’s dribbling who took a shot but Berkovec interfered.
Čížek got into another chance when he didn’t find anyone in a penalty area and decided to take a shot by himself and hit the bar.

And that was all from the home team. Kangaroos were creating more and more pressure since then, they were more active and it paid off. Kalina got the ball in the penalty area, went to the goal line, sent a nice lobbed ball to Rada who had no problem to hit it in.

It could have been even better. Lietava got the ball behind the home defense and it was just Špit in front of him. Lietava didn’t manage to send it behind his back and Špit saved the situation.
Kopic came with the answer on the other side. He found Hubnik in front of the goal, Pauschek got there on time and Hubnik’s header went over.

The time was passing by fast for Bohemians. Jablonec got out of the pressure, created a counterattack through the right side. Loučka went alone for 20 meters, sent a ball to Kopic, he turned around and sent a fast shot aiming for a goal. Berkovec was there and saved it and punched the ball for a corner kick. 

Jablonec played the corner kick, Brabec won it and sent Moravec into a great chance. Bohemians went four on two, fast sprinting Moravec got into the penalty area and decided to take all the responsibility on his feet and instead of passing it he took a shot, which was blocked by the keeper.

Just a minute before the final whistle it was the new player N’Dekre who had a chance to bring all three points home to Prague. He got into touch with Rossi, got the ball behind him, he went straight on target but unfortunately touched the ball too much and the ball went out.

It was the second added minute when Bohemians brought the decisive goal into play. And it was Kalina again who went on the left side, sent same cross ball as in previous case, but this time one of the defenders deflected it away. But it wasn’t ideal for the home team because the ball found Jakub Rada who hit the target and decided the match from a penalty spot.
Bohemians won an important match and they are entering the last round of this season from a non-relegation position.
