Rada secures a point

The match started fast even though the first big chance came after 20 minutes. The defensive line of the home team did not look confident. They were struggling with long cross balls and they left Bohemians a lot of space.
Rada’s corner kick showed exactly how much they were struggling. Bohemians had two tries to send the ball behind the home keeper. But Hroššo was sure and saved both tries. Firstly it was Mikuš after a series of headers. Then Škerle’s header hit the crossbar from a distance thanks to Hroššo’s touch.
The home team got into a good chance two minutes later. Moravec lost a ball, Delarge dribbled on the left side, sent ball to Mudra who took a fast shot to the closer post and Zlámal saved it in a hockey style.
Šmíd took down Šural in 32nd minute and offered the opponent an interesting standard situation. The players moved the ball to Šural and he hit a fast flying shot towards a keeper and Zlámal boxed it away.
But the good saving skills of both keepers did not secure a goalless score. Liberec played a corner kick, Bakoš jumped higher than others, hit a post with a header and Delarge got the deflected ball and finished it to make it 1:0.
Kangaroos tried to increase the activity and get more from the game during the second half. They pushed the opponent back into their defensive roles, but still Bohemians had hard times getting through the wall of blue and whites.
And Slovan, logically, threatened from counterattacks. It was Delarge who sprinted in 68th minute and got behind Zlámal who ran towards him. Thankfully, the assistant referee waved the flag and called it offside.
The end of the match was coming closer and closer and Bohemians were pushing for the goal. Rada gave the ball to Mosquera in 77th minute, Mosquera shot from a distance but Hroššo was again prepared and saved it.
The match got into its near end and Bohemians had one of the last chances of the game. A cross ball from Šírl got into penalty area, Lietava tried a bicycle kick but without success. However the ball stayed in the box and Rada took it. He prepared a shooting position while he was taken down with a great help of the defending players. Referee pointed at the penalty spot and Rada was the one to execute it. He was sure and kicked it towards the right post. Hroššo did not reach it even that he guessed the right side.
Kangaroos did not lose in three consecutive matches and they reached the 30 points boundary which basically means a first league presence for next season.
